Suar wood will always vary in tone, colour and pattern. Wood is a living material that expands and contracts, resulting in cracks and knots. We take steps during shipping and in our warehouse to dry and coat suar wood items, but it can still retain moisture which can leak out over time. Annual treatment with protective oil is recommended, this will also freshen the colour.
