Returns & Refunds
At La Riva Del Mar, we strive for 100% customer satisfaction. Not completely happy with your order? No worries! You have the right to return your purchase within 14 days of receiving it.
This means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and we do not offer free returns.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required. In case of damage, we ask you to provide detailed photos of the damaged packaging and the affected item(s).
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Be sure to include photos of both the package and the products, along with a description of the damage.
Note: Orders shipped on pallets must be returned along with the original pallet.
We do not accept returns based on minor differences in color, material, or design. Our products are handmade using natural materials, and small imperfections or variations are considered part of the charm and uniqueness of our collection.

Once your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and make it right. Detailed photos of the damaged packaging and items are required.
Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as perishable goods (like food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products).
We also do not accept returns for used items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
Sale items, discounted (gently priced) items, and gift cards are non-returnable.
We’ve made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products in the store. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate. Please keep in mind that we use natural materials, and slight variations in color and size may occur.
La Riva Del Mar does not offer refunds, replacements, or exchanges resulting from the appearance of materials as described here. These are all unique characteristics that customers accept when purchasing items from La Riva Del Mar.
Some of these natural materials (such as wood) may expand or contract with changes in temperature and humidity. Your item may shift or crack over time. This is not a flaw, but a natural behavior of the fibers in a natural product. Many of our wood types are character woods that display naturally occurring knots. Variations in color, grain, patterns, leaching, cracks, and knots are simply part of the character of wood and are not defects. No two pieces are alike, and customers should expect such variations.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Legal 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (EU)
Notwithstanding the above, if your goods are shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition as when received: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome and whether your refund is approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded via your original payment method within 14 business days.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
