These simple stone statues are handmade from sandstone by local craftsmen on the Indonesian island of Sumba. In the traditional villages of Sumba, such statues are placed at the entrance of the hut for protection and healing of the inhabitants. The statues have a natural color and are 10 cm high, 4 cm wide and 5 cm long.
