Statue #03 from our Sumba Stone collection is a simple stone statue, hand carved from sandstone by local artisans on the Indonesian island of Sumba. These statues are traditionally placed in and around the entrance of huts in the villages of Sumba, where they offer protection and healing to the inhabitants. This particular statue has a natural color and measures 18 cm high, 5 cm wide and 7 cm long. It is made of sandstone and is a unique decorative piece with a culturally rich appearance.
