Statue #06 from the Sumba Stone collection is a simple stone statue from the Indonesian island of Sumba. Hand-carved from sandstone by local craftsmen, this type of statue is traditionally placed in and around the entrance of huts in Sumba villages. It offers protection and healing to the inhabitants within. This particular statue has a grey color and is 14 cm high, 4 cm wide and 5 cm long.
